The figurative language used are various metaphors and similes mainly the one used the most is "Dust in the wind" Which mainly refers to the fact that we are just one more person, our problems compared to the global issues are absoloutley nothing, we are just dust in the wind.In one part it includes "Nothin lasts forever but the earth and the sky"and this refers to materialistic people who love having things but it says in the metaphor that only and the sky and earth last forever, meaning that materials dont.Another sentence; "and all your money wont another minute buy" expresses that if you are materialistic and want to have a lot of money that really doesnt do you much good if thats what you spend your life trying to do, and all the money in the world wont buy you another minute which means that the time you waste you wont get back even if you become a millionare because you cant buy time.
